Our children have grown up at Palombara and over the years we have gathered quite a collection of sports equipment and games. From tennis, cricket, football, basketball and table tennis equipment to board games and bikes, our guests are welcome to use it all.
We have a variety of sports equipment and games at Palombara including:
- Swimming: our 16-metre long pool can be heated so is ideal for swimming lengths and playing water polo.
- Tennis: next to the pool is our floodlit recently resurfaced tennis court with racquets and balls
- Table tennis: Usually set up between the terrace and front of the house
- Football: the tennis court is also a 5 aside football pitch with goals and footballs
- Cricket: at the front of the house is a lawned area where we set up for cricket.
- Basketball: Between the house and outside dining terrace is a paved area with basketball nets at either end.
- Cycling: We have 6 bikes of various shapes and sizes for cycling along local country lanes.
- Boardgames: We have a good selection of board games from Trivial Pursuit to Boggle.
