We have recently bought and renovated an apartment in the historic heart of the beautiful Umbrian hill town of Todi, just a short drive from Palombara. It is available for rental for friends of guests at Palombara or for those staying in Palombara who may like to extend their stay in Umbria for a couple of nights. Please contact us for availability and prices.The apartment is situated down a mediaeval, cobbled lane on the first floor of a palazzo, within strolling distance of Todi’s cathedral, shops, restaurants and cafes.
Furnished and decorated with contemporary style, the apartment is both comfortable and practical for a short stay. High ceilings, uncluttered interiors and neutral coloured walls complement the original marble floors, which are offset with modern furniture, matching rugs, linen and towels.
The entrance opens into a hallway and an open planned living space. A comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a dining table for four and a well-equipped, modern kitchen provide the setting for dining and relaxing together. The two bedrooms are side by side at one end of the hall, one with a large double bed and wardrobe and the other is set up as a twin bedroom with a couple of extra single beds on hand for extra friends or family. Throw open the wooden shuttered bedroom windows for panoramic views over terracotta tiled rooftops and rolling hills in the distance. Two shower rooms provide privacy for guests, one of which is situated beside the bedrooms and the other is just further along the entrance hall.
Sounds from the village are minimal as the palazzo is on a peaceful, traffic free lane. Birdsong and perhaps the occasional sounds from the lane below or voices from an apartment nearby are just part of the charm of village life.

- Children’s twin bedroom – 2 single beds and 2 others stacked in a wall unit with wardrobe.
- 2 shower rooms – one opposite the children’s room and beside the double bedroom, the other at the other end of the hallways. Both have spacious stand alone showers.
- Facilities: Heating/air conditioning units, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hairdryer.
